What’s New for the 2025 Ford F-150

The 2025 Ford F-150 arrives with a few notable updates. Two new exterior colors have been added to the lineup: Marsh Gray and Space White Metallic. BlueCruise®, Ford’s hands-free highway driving technology, is available across multiple trims. It comes equipped on King Ranch and Platinum models and is available on select XLT and Lariat configurations. The Tailgate Step with Work Surface is also available on more configurations, giving buyers additional utility-focused functionality.

Exploring the Engine Options on the 2025 Ford F-150

Under the hood, the 2025 Ford F-150 gives buyers several engine choices depending on the trim. The standard engine for many configurations is the 2.7L EcoBoost V6 that produces 325 hp and 400 lb-ft of torque, which pairs well with everyday driving needs.

The 5.0L V8 comes standard on certain cab and wheelbase configurations and delivers 400 hp and 410 lb-ft of torque for drivers who want traditional V8 performance.

For those who want even more capability, the 3.5L EcoBoost V6 produces 400 hp and 500 lb-ft of torque. Properly equipped, the F-150 can tow up to 13,500 lb.

The 3.5L PowerBoost Full Hybrid V6 generates 430 hp and 570 lb-ft of torque and includes Pro Power Onboard for on-site power generation. All engines are paired with an electronic 10-speed automatic transmission.

Breaking Down the 2025 Ford F-150 Trim Lineup

The 2025 Ford F-150 is available in eight trims: XL, STX, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum, Tremor, and Raptor. The XL is equipped with a 12-in touchscreen, Ford Co-Pilot360 Assist 2.0, and a Class IV trailer hitch as standard features. The STX steps things up with sport cloth seating, blacked-out styling details, and available FX4 off-road equipment. The XLT is a strong mid-range pick with available heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, and Ford Co-Pilot360 Assist 2.0 on higher equipment groups.

Moving up, the Lariat brings ActiveX seating material, ventilated front seats, LED projector headlamps, and an available B&O Sound System by Bang & Olufsen. The King Ranch adds genuine leather-trimmed multicontour seats, wood-grain interior accents, power-deployable running boards, and a distinctive King Ranch Exterior Theme with bronze lower accent paint. The Platinum offers a similarly elevated experience with multicontour seats with Active Motion leather seating surfaces and a Gloss Black Surround with Gloss Black Accented Grille.

For those who want off-road performance, the Tremor comes with Trail Control, an electronic-locking rear axle, off-road-tuned shocks, and increased ride height. The Raptor takes it further with FOX™ Racing Shox with Live Valve Technology, a 450-hp high-output 3.5Lr EcoBoost V6 that produces 510 lb-ft of torque, and a long-travel suspension designed for serious off-road use.

Technology and Safety Across the 2025 Ford F-150 Lineup

Every model includes SYNC 4 with a 12-in touchscreen, wireless phone connection, Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ compatibility, and a 5G Wi-Fi hotspot. Higher trims add features like adaptive cruise control with lane centering, a 360-degree camera, Pro Trailer Backup Assist, and a heads-up display.
